Setting Up Your Business Website
No matter how you plan on running your online business, be it from an office at home, using clear wire internet in the park or via your smartphone, you’ve got to have a great website to get anything done. Here are a few foolproof tips for making sure you’re setting up your site the right way from the get go
Hire a Good Designer: Remember that good doesn’t necessarily have to mean expensive. Many great designers are still in school or just do the trade part time and you can find them via Craigslight or on Facebook. Check for work samples and talk rates up front.
Get Some SEO: Good SEO from the get go will mean more sales and visits – this is the type of thing you’ve got to build into your site as it’s being created. Work with a designer with some background.
Have a Payment System: Make sure you offer easy, secure payments online via Paypal or some other reputable source. Don’t expect people to call you to give their information – make it easy from the beginning.
